Isla Hermosa Guesthouse - Vieques

The owners were cute.

We encountered constant noise from the peacocks , quite frustrating. The cats roaming around the common area left a strong odor, very unpleasant. While we expected some animal presence on the island, this was more than we had anticipated, and it affected our overall experience.

It was super base for traveling to Vieques, I was glad to stay there. The staff were amiable and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and stocked with couches, A/C and fan. The location was excellent in a nice quiet area, really close to the beaches, and greenery and the sound of birds and insects.

The hotel is cute and in a peaceful location close to many beautiful beaches. The rooms are neat and updated, have hypo-allergenic pillows. It offers very comfy bed and great services.

The cute atmosphere and leisurely outdoor shower. Clean and comfy accommodations were paired with the charm of animals roaming the hotel. While the common areas had some cleanliness issues, the good patios and delicious local coffee stood out. Amazing location for convenient exploration, this guesthouse provided all the necessary beach amenities.

The guesthouse is somewhat tucked away, requiring a bit of a walk to reach town, which can be tricky at night. The lack of Netflix or YouTube on the TV felt limiting, though the strong Wi-Fi meant staying connected to streaming services was possible through other means. Local roosters add to the lively atmosphere, but those sensitive to noise might prefer to have a more soundproof situation.

Great location, right in the middle of the island. The Queen Suite was cozy, had AC, and even a coffee maker. Clean room with a private bathroom. Enjoyed the common kitchen area, super chill. They provided beach chairs and umbrellas. It was nice to hang out with other guests. Peacocks on site add a fun touch!

Staying at isla hermosa guesthouse was a dream! Quick responses from shelly and nick made the check-in process super smooth. Our queen suite was cozy and clean. The amenities were excellent. Being in the middle of the island made it easy to beach hop anywhere we wanted.

I loved the cozy room and the thoughtful little details like beach towels and pool noodles! The only downside was needing more cleaning attention in common areas. Would definitely come back 🌴

Just a smart choice for a brief visit in Vieques with all in all great value for money. The outdoor kitchen was especially nice for enjoying meals surrounded by tropical plants and peacocks. Renting a vehicle makes it easier to explore the island.

Staying at Isla Hermosa Guesthouse was a wonderful experience! The room was cozy and clean, with a comfy corner chair that was perfect. The owners, Nick and Shelly, were cute and helpful, providing beach towels and amenities like pool noodles and sunscreen to use.

The staff here was very friendly and amicable. The location was beautiful in the center of the island. The bed was extremely comfy. I really enjoyed the room. They met all our requests, and nothing was too much trouble. The coffee & tea making facilities and glassware were a plus. I would be happy to recommend it.
